INDUSTRIAL YIN YANG: LOOK 9

And finally I present the final look in the INDUSTRIAL YIN YANG collection I've styled for Raoul. For the last look, I used one of the pieces from the Cruise collection, which I thought would transcend quite well into the spring-summer season. I just loved the striped sporty detail, which felt very modern and contemporary. Pairing it with an olive green short pant, alongside closed-toe sandals from Raoul's past seasons gave the look a very sporty casual feel to it. I further accessorized with bangles from the Marni at H&M collection to add a bit of spunk.

For the 8th [and 2nd to the last] look, I chose to style a Raoul2-Toned T-Shirt. It's one of the pieces from their Spring-Summer collection, which I thought had a ton of character and spunk - veering away from their usual classic style and cuts. We had a lot of fun styling this piece - pairing it with a bright blue short pant, topped with a deep blue blazer and of course spicing things up would be these gorgeous gladiator sandals. It just screams fun!

The 7th look in the collection begins to explore looks that are perfect for the Summer season. I've paired Raoul's White Zipped Shirt - which is absolutely one of my favorite pieces from the collection - with deep blue short pants, my Prada Creeper Brogues and I've accessorized it with leather bracelets that help highlight the color scheme. To top it all off, I added Cut-Off Gloves just to help toughen up the look and add more pizzaz - it's actually very biker chic if I think about it.

If you're curious about the zip detail on the shirt, click on next to see a zoomed in shot of the shirt. I really loved how Raoul spruced up the classic white shirt with just this minor addition of a detail and of course by playing up with the material. It's brilliant actually!

I used one of my favorite pieces from Raoul's Spring-Summer 2012 collection for the 6th look that I've styled for this capsule collection. I just love this 2-Toned Long Sleeved Polo Shirt, which is not only contrasted via color but through the material as well. Paired it with a simple pair of white pants and rubber shoes for a look that's perfect for a casual work day or even a sunny weekend out and about.

With Spring-Summer being a season of fun, color and life, I thought it would be of interest to see if we can spruce up Raoul's usual classic sartorial into something that is playful and vibrant for the season. For this fifth look, I styled Raoul's Bright Orange Long Sleeved Polo Shirt with an equally deep bright orange blazer - paired with pants and shoes that evoke cool hues of blue. To top it all of, I accessorized it with a patterned bow tie to bring even more vibrancy to the entire look. I thought that by layering a bright orange hue with a cool, yet equally bright, blue was a perfect way to bring the fun of Spring-Summer into an outfit.

The fourth look in this spread was inspired by the idea of contrasting colors. Using Raoul's Red Checkered Shirt helped make a difference to the classic pairing of a navy suit and denim pants. A well-loved outfit by gentlemen everywhere, spiced up by something as simple as a patterned shirt - perfect for those lazy weekday brunches, picnics or dinners.

This third look was a done with the intent of playing up patterns usually exploited individually during the season of spring. I paired up Raoul's Floral Printed Shirt with a navy inspired long sleeved tee to provide contrast via prints. Think key to how these prints work well together would be the feel and hue of colors used. This powerful print combination is definitely a great way to spruce up an old pair of white jeans.

For this second look, we featured Raoul's unique Spring-Summer take on the classic white shirt. Adding a pop of cobalt blue highlights on the collar of a crisp white shirt, in my opinion, is inspired! It just adds the right amount of contemporary touch to an otherwise classic staple in any man's wardrobe. To keep things interesting, we paired this shirt with the model's own pair of cobalt blue denim jeans - adding just the right amount of modern day classicism in an otherwise relaxed outfit.
