Gucci has been on a roll lately. Celebrities everywhere have been spotted either sporting gorgeous Gucci couture or toting Gucci bags. Well, look no further cause Gucci's latest celebrity ambassador lives close to home. Li Bingbing - famous Chinese songstress and actress - was spotted at the Beijing airport wearing HTT [head to toe]Gucci and thank God it wasn't in a tacky way! a.Fasione's Shopping Round Up # 22: CELINE FW2012 SUEDE PHANTOM LUGGAGE

I think it's pretty obvious that I am a Céline fan ever since Ms. Philo stepped in as the label's Creative Director. I was actually waiting with bated breath for the SS2013 Women's RTW Collection shown at Paris Fashion Week, and as per usual it was brilliant! Well, to add fuel to my ever-growing fanaticism, I dropped by the shop the other day to check out what pieces from the FW12 collection have been left un-snatched by Céline hungry fasioneistas. And lo and behold there is one more jewel that is up for grabs ladies and gents! Check out this simply mouth-watering Phantom Luggage from Céline' FW2012 collection in a deep red suede material retailing for SGD 2900. Beautiful isn't it? It's lined in lamb leather, with the same deep red color and of course, the handle and outer detailing is made of leather too. I was immediately head over heels! And who wouldn't? It looks absolutely stunning! The only caution to this is the fact that it's made of suede, which will stain lighter colored clothing. Otherwise, it's the perfect piece to have and to hold. If I were you, I'd be running down Takashimaya right now to grab it for my very own as it's the only piece left Otherwise, some other fasioneista will be the proud owner of this beautiful baby.

PROENZA SCHOULER PS11 FW 2012 BAGS
PS11 Mini Classic Leather Shoulder Bag
PS11 Mini Classic Leather Shoulder Bag

FW2012 heralds in the onslaught of Proenza Schouler's PS11 Bags in variation of shapes and sizes that will fit any fasione-ista's bag needs. I've been enamored by the design of the PS11 for quite some time as I think it has that IT factor anyone should look for in a bag. Be it the tote or the shoulder bag, I love how it stands out in a crowd due to the simplicity and the unmistakable trademark it has as a design. First up would be the current bane of my existence - the PS11 Classic Shoulder Bag. Don't get me wrong, I adore this bag! If I can have it in all the colors available, I would've started collecting months ago. And I guess herewith lies the problem, I just want it so bad that I can't stop thinking about it! Available in 2 sizes - the mini and the regular size - it's perfect regardless, which you'll take as it can fit all the daily essentials you carry around. The design is as sleek as any shoulder bag can get and what I love about it is the versatility in terms of use - it'll be perfect as a weekend bag out and about in the streets or even as a nice workbag that transitions into a handy evening clutch. Retailing for almost USD 1700 for the mini [such as the hot orange number you see above via Bergdorf Goodman] and about USD 1900 for the bigger one [much like the ones below in emerald and classic black, which is available via Bergdorf Goodman and MyTheresa respectively]; it's an investment worth making given the mileage you'll get out of this baby.

Alternatively, if a shoulder bag isn't your thing, you can opt for the new and improved PS11 Shopping Tote as you see below. It's big and roomy enough to be - well as the name suggests, a shopping tote or even as a travel bag. For this piece, I'd highly suggest going with a classic color given the battering it can get when you bring it our for shopping or travel trips. Though fret not, Proenza also made sure that those who love a splash of color won't be disappointed.

What I love with the new and improved version are the front pockets that can fit things you need to grab quick - like keys, metro card or coins. Further, they've added in a detachable strap that you can use to lug it around on your shoulder when you get tired of hand carrying it. It's absolutely fantabulous! Available as well in 2 sizes, small and large, it retails for about USD 2000 and USD 2300 respectively. If you're interested with the black one above it is available via Net-a-Porter[just note that it's the large size].

See below some of the other variations that I think are note-worthy, and I'm lusting after:

PROENZA SCHOULER FW 2012 FAVES

Fall-Winter is almost here and with the change of seasons, a slew of new designer pieces are now ripe for the taking. I've always been enamored by the ability of Proenza Schouler to churn out pieces that have an understated sense of elegance and classicism and this has been part of the brand's appeal. There came a point though when what they've produced became too staple and boring - speaking specifically of their leather goods - but I think they've turned the tides of late and this season is no different as they've taken their leather goods collection to a whole new level!

The PS1 Pouch and Keepall looks divinely rejuvenated as they channel the vibe and feel of Chanel in this quilted black number accentuated with gold detailingI personally think it looks luxurious and rich and just screams decadent elegance. I love the touch of the gold chain on the pouch as well, which is definitely a new and interesting twist. Apart from that I am seriously lusting after the PS11 Classic, which is available in this deep forest green color. Personally I would have preferred it if the hardware was in gold as opposed to silver, but hey who's complaining? It looks just as elegantly rich and classy regardless. Retailing for around USD 1950,[or about SGD 2300, if I'm not mistaken, at OnPedder] I honestly think it's a steal for something that can last you lifetimes.

Apart from the bags, their shoes are also of note - specifically the boots and pumps you see on display. I actually think these pieces are classic looking enough to last you a couple of seasons or more - definitely worth the investment if you ask me. Still waiting for details on pricing for some of these pieces so as soon as I hear any, will update you all. For now, we'll all have to wait at the starting line to race to the finish - the finish being purchasing one of these gorgeous pieces!

FENDI a.MUST HAVE BAG: THE ANNA BAG

Chic. Elegant. Classic. These are just 3 words that come immediately to mind when I see the Fendi Anna Bag. After the Chameleon Tote - this is my most absolute favorite bag from the House of Fendi. I just love the sheer simplicity of the bag. Much like the Chameleon it is available in various versions - solid, tri-color and combination of various materials such as the beauty you see above in calf leather and sting ray leather.

Some of the other designs that I've fallen for are as you see above. I just adore the combination of the neutral tones and the other design on the left, which is calf leather with pony hair. Fabulosity! So which one are you lusting after? Click on the photos to purchase your very own - I'm definitely planning on doing so!

FENDI a.MUST HAVE BAG: THE CHAMELEON TOTE

There is that defining moment when you feel your heart and gut wrenching because you absolutely love something. I know for a fact that this was how I felt when I first spotted Yves Saint Laurent's MuseCéline's Luggage Tote or Givenchy's Pandora Bag - it was simply love at first sight; ergo the love affair I have with these brands have then pretty much begun and continues to flourish to this moment. And I think that moment has now arrived for Fendi, in the guise of The Chameleon Tote. It all started one fine day I was around Marina Bay Sands and I spotted this gorgeous tri-color beauty in the shop - in mouthwatering smooth leather, perfect combination of a neutral palette and of course the elegant and subtle detailing that surprisingly still makes it very Fendi. And the magic doesn't stop in the design; it's also in the pragmatic details. The flexibility in terms of use is just endless - a utilitarian workbag, an on-the-go travel bag or even as a handy dandy shopping tote - believe me the options are just endless! And I think it's all got to do with the details...

...from the useful bag divider to the multitude of inner pockets for your bits and pieces to the detachable shoulder strap - they've literally thought of it all. And if those weren't enough, the Chameleon is available in a plethora of options: solid colored pieces such as one in Acai Berry [CLICK HERE] to tri-colored beauties in all leather [CLICK HERE] to pieces that combine various materials [CLICK HERE]. My favorites you say? Well, here you have them below.

All I can say is I want my very own, and for those who know me long and well enough, they'll vouch when I say that I'll have my very own. Until then, I'll express my love and admiration for this piece of art with this homage ; rest assured it won’t be my last!

TOD'S SIGNATURE COLLECTION

Finally, it seems that mega shoe brand Tod's, has finally come up with a bag design that can compete against bag design super powers available in the market. Tod's has recently released - the Signature Collection - a series of bags from shopping totes to evening clutches and wallets that reek fasione all over. What makes this collection even more interesting is the fact that it is being endorsed and modeled by none other than the enigmatic Anne Hathaway.

I first found out about this collection as I was browsing through some of the latest fashion ads and this one caught my eye instantly. I didn't even realize it was Anne Hathaway! It just screams high fashion! Apart from the tantalizing campaign, the bags themselves caught my eye. They're unique, interesting and distinctive due to the imprinted Gommino pattern, which the shoe brand is well known for.

Of the bags I saw available, I fell in love instantly with this gorgeous magenta colored evening clutch - with a metallic chain that you can keep to use as a pouch/clutch.

The other piece, which I absolutely adore, is this deep navy shopping tote. Beautiful aren't they? I absolutely cannot wait until I personally see these bags in-store but I honestly believe that these designs will go a long way! With a competitive bag design, I truly do believe that Tod's will now traverse into the wonderful world of bags.

LONGCHAMP X BLESS

People who know me are aware of how I feel about Longchamp. It's not on the top of my list as a fave bag and I've been teasing friends who have them. A few days ago, I spotted this Longchamp bag in a shop at Scape Orchard and it's designs such as these that make me think there is hope for the brand. This is the Longchamp x Bless collaboration. It's a piece that's been in the market for a while now and just came to my knowledge recently. A limited edition design, it's made of linen that can be rolled-up into a donut, which alternatively you can use as a bracelet.

A unique style that in my opinion keeps the essence of Longchamp, whilst injecting the right amount of fasione into the design. For those interested, it's retailing for SGD 568, so if you want it head on down to Scape and grab a piece of this limited edition beauty!
