In celebration of 10 years of luxury online shopping, Hermés has released a special surprise for it's online patrons - the Tourbillon Bracelets. Retailing for USD115 a pop, it's made out of silk with the "Fleurs Indiennes" print, and for something that's a special edition piece, the price definitely makes it worth the investment. It also comes attached with a silver & palladium plated horse medallion, which I think is a cute addition to it! This was actually one of the highlights of my afternoon, when I received a couple of the orange boxes sent across by a friend from the US, containing 2 of these lovelies. Which of the 2 you might ask, you'll have to tune into my blog and see when I wear them ;)

It's always a lot of fun mixing & matching fashion pieces and there's nothing more thrilling than to pair accessories - so meet my beloved Hermés, Yves & Coco!
Just love how these articles work together in perfect harmony! From the warm color scheme, to the size & proportion, to the contrast in materials - just perfection.
Citrus is the color of Spring-Summer'12 and Mr. Alexander Wang's Rocco Bag fits the bill perfectly. It's the perfect bag to lug around from work to the weekend - adding a ray of sunlight to your day! I just adore the crisp, bright yellow color contrast to the silver hardware of the zip and Alexander's signature studs on the bottom of the bag. Flexible, you can carry this on the crook of your arm or sling it around with the detachable strap. It's the perfect workbag or weekend bag! You can purchase this same bag at Barneys for about USD 875 [CLICK HERE to PURCHASE] or for those in Singapore, you can grab this from the Alexander Wang Shop or better yet via OnePedder.
I just love making things. I've loved it since I was young and I am just amazed with how old things can look like new or different with just a little bit of imagination and creativity. That is exactly what I did with this Zara blazer that I got last fall. I thought about what I can do to make it look like new for spring and voila!
I had these gorgeous Chanel Camellia Flowers from when I purchased my Interlaced Bracelet and I thought why not spruce up my blazer with them? The result is a fresh take on a pink blazer that's perfect for the coming season. I'm excited to wear this! Do watch out for photos for when I decide to wear it!
One of the most sought after prints this Spring-Summer 2012 is Givenchy's Birds of Paradise print from the men's collection. Ricardo Tisci has outdone himself yet again by creating a pattern that is iconic and relevant to the season. Fashion stalwarts are literally jumping over fences to be able to grab a hold of any piece of the collection with this soon to be classic and iconic print.
And why shouldn't we? It's a fabulous statement piece that just screams style, class and pizzazz rolled into one. Which is why I myself jumped on the bandwagon by grabbing the now available Birds of Paradise Necktie. I am not a fan of ties but I must say when I spotted this I just fell in love. Available at Givenchy Paragon in the ivory and the green colors, it's a piece of luxury that is a.Must Have! Otherwise you can purchase the same from Barneys New York [CLICK HERE to PURCHASE] for USD 265.
With Valentine's Day on full blast today, I am 100% sure that women all over the world are being bombarded with hordes of presents from their beloved and one of the staple gifts on such special occasions - Chanel.
I have often said that Chanel is an amazing and lasting brand but is something I myself don't see fit my persona. Lo and behold I have finally given in. Like every other girl I am now a proud Chanel owner. I gave in by getting the Chanel Interlaced Chain Bracelet[see more details here] and I must say I am absolutely ecstatic with the purchase! It is one of the most luscious pieces of accessory that I have and I just love the feel, the look and the uniqueness of it all. The leather is soft and buttery, with the fine detailing of aged gold hardware. Jadore!!! It is definitely a gem from the Spring-Summer'12 collection!
I also now realize the happiness of a Chanel purchase. The experience is truly magical - from the embossed ribbons to the gift-wrapped purchase and the Camellia flowers - a shopping experience well-worth relishing. They also gave a lot of press material on the upcoming Spring collection and it is a delight to read! Overall, it is an experience worth treasuring - unique, distinct, classy, elegant and truly Chanel. So what about you? What are your most treasured Chanel experiences?
