SEOUL: DAY 3
Day 3 in Seoul was spent mostly in 2 areas - the magnificent Changdeok Palace - and in Gangnam-Gu. This was a pivotal day for me as it really brought attention to the beauty and wonders that Seoul has to offer – from it’s historic places to the amazing nature and of course FOOD! Changdeok Palace offered a plethora of wonders that inspired me nonstop. We went around the area and toured the Secret Gardens. Our tour guide showed us amazing photos of how different the gardens can be depending on the season and the photos were enough to convince me that I need to come back during spring and fall. That doesn't mean I wasn't happy with what I already saw. I think it's an understatement when I say it was an explosion of creative inspiration - myriads and thousands of colors and patterns that bombard your senses wherever you look; mind you I'm just sharing the visual feast. You have to experience the creative explosion your senses will have when you're there - from the melodic sound of birds to the sweet scent of fresh air.
And of course, what would you do with such creative stimulus? Have crazy fun ---
We ended the day by rewarding ourselves with a hearty dinner at Elbon, which I believe is found in Ganganam-Gu. It's a unique business idea mixing fashion, nature and delectable food in one - as they say, "to bring out the noble in you". And it does live up to its reputation and of course, a noble's standards. Our palate's had a food orgasm; well I leave that for you to judge based on these delectable photos.
