JIMMY CHOO 2011 MEN'S SHOES
After days of unable to access my blog due to technical issues, I was able to temporarily fix things to be able to once again share fashion news. Thank God! First news I think should be shared would be the launch of Jimmy Choo's male shoe line. Following the footsteps of Christian Louboutin, women's shoe magnate Jimmy Choo has now diversified their shoe line to cater to the male demographic. Under the creative helm of Tamara Mellon, the line exudes a 60's British style and immaculate Italian design that scream contemporary classics.
Personally I'm not that keen on the line as compared to what we've been seeing out in the market of late - especially from the men's line of Prada and Louboutin. Though I think there are a few exceptions, which hits the mark just right.
The Belgravia designs, in my opinion, are the crème of the crop! Stylish & sleek - it's a very sharp and stylish addition to any man's basic shoe collection. It has the right amount of pop due to the luxurious materials it's made of - such as my favorite of the bunch in Mock Crocodile. Retailing for £414.62 at Mr. Porter, it truly is a steal.
I'm also keen on the Paisley Patterned Loafers they have available this collection. Retailing for £432.45 via Mr. Porter, it's an artful piece that injects the right amount of pizzazz to any of your classic looks. The jewel-toned paisley prints, together with the patent lining makes it extra appealing! Wear it with a luxurious and classic tux and you will exude "handsome elite" all night.
