As I've promised, I've been going through the various shows for Fall-Winter 2015 and one that I could not help but fawn over would be that of Isabel Marant's. Marant has been known to bring to life insouciant wear - one that screams luxury & carefree, structured yet bohemian. This season is no different presenting pieces in a contemporary manner albeit true to its core.

What's of note to me is looking at the pieces from this show I'm already seeing clear trends - seen as well from the Saint Laurent show - which may indicate where this season will take us, at least in my POV.

MODERN NAVAL SAILOR - this trend never looked so chic. Gone are your usual staples, rather the focus has been on the structures and sailorish details modernised for fall-winter attires. I just absolutely love the knitwear with the navy inspired buttons and of course those high-waisted pants with the same button details - dying for them! J'adore!!!

BABY'S NAKED TRUTH - innocence is overrated, well at least in the context of these baby doll cut dresses they are. Sheer and short seems to be the name of the game; a note aside nudity seems to be running strong across collections world over. That said, these dresses don't scream vulgarity rather exude stylish luxury by artfully playing with the senses of both the wearer and the observer.

70's BOHEMIAN LUXE - traditional to Marant shows, chic bohemian inspired clothes were aplenty. Inspiration this season seems to stem from a lot of the 70's through the lens of native American prints, patterns & cuts. Think modern day Pocahontas? The knits I am absolutely lusting after and dare I say are absolute must haves for the chilly season. Imagine running wild & free through the city jungle with hair loose or with braids and sun-kissed skin. Every John Smith will for sure take heed of your wild & stylish spirit.
