PRADA MEN'S S/S'12 COLLECTION
Whilst D&G showcased a collection entirely in black; Mc Queen, Calvin & Klein and Bottega Veneta featured neutrals with splashes of color - Prada Men decided to go with pastels and florals - a brave and inspired move on Miuccia's part if you ask me. Their Spring-Summer 2012 Men's Collection is the creme of the crop highlighting design avant-garde at it's finest.
I can't get over the amazing designs that were featured and I'm sure that fashionable men at heart are raring to grab a piece of this exquisite collection when it releases next year! The collection is a great revival of retro chic - think fifties inspired outfits - of course, with a touch of modernity.
Aesthetically pleasing, the collection brings a sense of happiness - potentially because of the splashes of color seen on trousers and explosion of prints on shirts all mixed together with statement neutrals via coats/cardigans that anchor it back to reality.
Of note in the collection would be the bold and eye-catching florals on shirts and berets or baker-boy caps [which I am definitely lusting after!]. Other items that draw attention would be the amazing bejeweled clutches and of course the lascivious worthy brogues.
I know Fall-Winter'11 is just heading our way, but I think Spring-Summer'12 brings us much to be excited about!
